Bena Currin

Hi Mom! My mom has been working with computers since before I was born (until she retired, she was a computer graphics engineer with General Electric.) She needs to get her digital camera connected to her computer though. Get going on that, Mom.

I was a PhD gradual student in the Caltech Computer Graphics Group from 1991 until 1995. My advisor was Professor Alan H. Barr. Now I'm off to rejoin the virtually real world, working at Pixar.

I have some friends at Washington Elementary in Richmond, CA.

I used to spend some time working in the Visualization and Earth Science Applications group at JPL on Surveyor, a terrain exploration and animation system. Technically I'm still an employee, but the new group supervisor hasn't even met me.
